I sent this letter to the Daily News, it was published today, and I truly want to thank the residents of Richfield and my family.
April 4, 2014
Richfield sure has changed since I was a boy growing up on Monches Road. But even though I’ve witnessed a lot of change over the last 41 years, there’s one thing that has maintained constant — the people.
Richfield is made up of hard-working, trustworthy, family-oriented folks who take pride in their village and want to see it keep our “Country Way of Life,” just like me.
I want to thank the voters for instilling in me their confidence so that I can keep giving back to the community that has already given me so much.
As a small business owner I promise to continue to bring blue-collar work ethics in the next two years.
Regardless if you voted for me or not, I want you to know that we’re all in this together. If we can find common ground on the issues that affect our community, I certainly welcome the opportunity to talk and explore reasonable solutions.
Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank my rock, my wife Lori, my three children and extended family. Without their love and continued support I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thank you.

3) Why are you running for trustee?
I have had the honor of representing the residents of Richfield and working with the fiscally responsible Village of Richfield Board Members both past and present. I would like to continue with working with residents of Richfield & make informed and educated discussions for our community on their behalf.
4) What are two to three issues that Richfield is facing and what is your take on the village should address them?
The Village of Richfield has 150 miles of roads to maintain, with state road aids being reduced & asphalt prices increasing, maintaining our roads will be a challenge for us.
Another challenge for Richfield is managing growth of our community as this is always a challenge.
I feel that managing growth & promoting economic growth, based on our smart growth plan will help us with both of these challenges.
5)Is there anything else not raised that you want the voters to know?
I have heard from numerous people who are concerned about the perceived issues and misinformation. If elected I will continue to address and resolve any challenges that arise.
Thank you
Dan Neu
